Carlos Bravo Villa
Carlos Bravo Villa has a Degree in Biology from the Complutense University of Madrid.

He was Energy and Climate Change coordinator of Greenpeace Spain when he left the organisation in August 2012. Prior to this post, he directed the Nuclear Energy Campaign from 1991 to 2011 and, within this campaign, he headed the Disarmament Campaign from 1991 to 2004. His responsibilities included the drawing up of annual campaign plans, strategy preparation and report drafting. He was also spokesperson to the media, civil society, political parties, the Congress and Senate and diverse Authorities, etc.

He is also President of Centaurea Ecologist Association, since 1998, a national organisation, where he has acted as the director and managed voluntary work teams (activists, trainers, lawyers and technicians from different fields). Centaurea’s objective is to promote sustainable development, with its main focus being the legal fight in favour of a sustainable energy model, adequate land use and the protection of natural habitats. He has also undertaken campaigns regarding transport and hydraulic infrastructures as well as environmental education.

Since November 2013 he is Coordinator of the Technical Secretariat of Alianza Mar Blava, a cross-sectoral alliance whose aim is to definitively stop the exploratory programme and the subsequent exploitation of hydrocarbons in the western Mediterranean.

He has also produced reports for The Greens/EFA European parliamentary group, SEO/BirdLife, Greenpeace.

Member of the Club of Experts of digital newspaper Energy News. He also collaborates in the blog section of Efeverde of news agency Agencia Efe and of newspaper Estrella Digital.

Joan Herrera Torres es abogado, licenciado en Derecho por la Universitat de Barcelona, y con un post-grado en Derecho Urbanístico y Derecho al Medioambiente por la Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Ha sido diputado en el Congreso de los Diputados del año 2004 hasta 2010, y diputado del Parlament de Catalunya desde 2010 hasta 2015. En sus tareas parlamentarias se ha destacado por la propuesta en aspectos diversos, aunque destaca su actividad legislativa y propositiva en materia energética, medioambiental y económica. Fue considerado diputado revelación, mas activo y mejor relación con la prensa en diferentes años.

Es autor de dos libros: “Economia i ecología” con Editorial columna en 2010 y “Cuanta desigualdad puede soportar la democracia” con RBA en 2014, y de numerosos artículos en prensa nacional. Colabora en el blog “La energía como derecho” de 20 minutos.

Forma parte de la ejecutiva de la Fundación Energías Renovables.

Actualmente es profesor asociado en la Universitat de Girona en la Facultat de Derecho y ciencias políticas.
